Clarify hormone replacement therapy. Compression/damage to normal pituitary tissue can result in deficiencies in glucocorticoids, thyroid hormone, and sex steroids. These may need optimisation if patient is symptomatic.

Consider awake fibreoptic intubation if signs of respiratory compromise (stridor, hoarse voice) at rest, or if patient is at risk of both difficult ventilation and intubation (symptoms/investigations suggesting of obstructive sleep apnoea)
