Can be used as a standard laryngoscope, whilst other staff look at image. May help assistant providing the cricoid/BURP adjust their position to improve the view.

If using a stylet, ensure it is well lubricated to minimise resistance when it's removed. If difficult to remove, the tip of ETT may be accidently pulled out of the cords.

Placement of the screen. For me it works well to put the C-MAC next to the anaesthetic nurse to my right and their right. This way all my attention can be directed to the one side.

Twist the ETT 180 degrees immediately after passing into the cords. This angles the tip down so it doesn't hit up against the anterior surface of trachea
