For patients less than 30kg, 15mg/kg Dobutamine diluted up to 50ml in normal saline with 1u/ml heparin. Start at 1-4ml/hr (5-20mcg/kg/min).

If using the 12.5mg/ml solution (250mg/20ml), 1.2ml/kg of this gives you the required 15mg/kg.
Maximum dose allowable on Koala and Kookaburra is 5mcg/kg/min
