Supplies two numbers
1. State entropy (SE) (representing the general cortical state). SE range 1-32Hz, values 0-91 (or 92?).
If SE is >60, deepen anaesthesia
2. Response entropy (RE)
RE assesses EEG and EMG activity; range .8-47Hz. RE number values 0-100;
If the difference between SE and RE is >5-10, then deepen anaesthesia/analgesia
