Loading dose: 0.5 ml/kg 0.25% levobupivacaine or 0.2% Ropivacaine at start of case (max 15 ml)
Throughout case 0.1 ml/kg boluses every 1-2 hr prn
Infusion started in recovery at 0.1-0.2 ml/kg/hr of 0.125% Levobupivicaine or 0.2% Ropivicaine /- Fentanyl /- Clonidine
0.2 mg/kg/hr in Neonates
0.4 mg/kg/hr in older children
