Three elements are required.
1. Ignition source such as diathermy or laser.
2. Fuel source such as alcohol prep, surgical drapes, or patient's hair.
3. Oxidiser such as supplemental oxygen, nitrous oxide, or room oxygen.

If a high risk procedure is being performed, communication is key. eg. tell the surgeon when the oxygen concentration is increased. #safety
