Topic aliases are alternate phrasings for a particular topic.


It is difficult to hear gas flow from a cylinder in a helicopter. If you use oxygen or air from a cylinder for something temporary (eg hand ventilating a patient) make sure the cylinder is turned off when done to avoid emptying it inadvertantly.

Using a stethoscope to auscultate the lungs mid flight is suprisingly possible.

The seal of the earpieces in the ears and good contact of the diaphragm to the patient eliminates enough of the background noise to enable adequate auscultation of breath sounds.
