- Na depletion ( SIADH, drugs, psychogenic polydipsia)

Hypertonic?
-Osmotically active particles (Glucose, mannitol, glycerol, glycine, sorbital)

- pseudohyponatremia (hyperlipidaemia, paraproteinaemia)
