Weigh up the risk of end-organ damage from hypotension with the consequences of excessive blood loss. When hypotension is being performed to reduce bleeding in non-life threatening situations, minimise the degree of hypotension (max 10-20% reduction) in patients at elevated risk of end organ damage (elderly, history of IHD/CAD or CVA)
