Topic aliases are alternate phrasings for a particular topic.
Open circuit. Efficient during spontaneous respiration as reseviour tube accumulates fresh gas during expiratory pause, which is then inhaled during the inspitatory phase. If there was no reseviour, high fresh gas flow would be required during inspiration. The reseviour reduces the flows required. refl.in/go
