If performing dorsal penile block, inject 1-2ml local anesthetic at base of penis to cover the nerves supplying the frenulum which are often missed by dorsal block. refl.in/e5

Good summary of deep technique, where injections are made bilaterally to suspensory ligament through the superificial fascia, walking off the pubic symphysis.
