Lung isolation in patients less than 10yrs old is usually unecessary. Inflation pressure usually provides adequate exposure, and lungs don't usually deflate well due to adhesions.

Double lumen endotracheal tube (ETT) is relatively indicated. Single lumen may be adequate depending on surgeon & extent/location of pathology.
