The dose of PROTHROMBINEX-VF (25-50 IU kg) equates to approximately ½ - 1 vial (500 IU 20mL vial) PROTHROMBINEX-VF per 10 kg patient weight, or 3.5 to 7 vials for a 70kg patient. refl.in/i2 Check INR after 15-30min.

The PROTHROMBINEX-VF approved Product Information and the 2004 Warfarin Reversal: Consensus Guidelines developed by the ASTH refl.in/i3 recommend use of both PROTHROMBINEX-VF and FFP in warfarin reversal.
