Ward managment:
1. Prevent the patient for injuring themselves (eg remove dangerous objects, put besides up)
2. Call for assistance and arrest trolley
3. Airway (support where possible, do not place airway adjuncts in the patient's mouth during their seizure)
4. Breathing (apply 100% oxygen and pulse oximeter where possible)
5. Circulation
6. Drugs - Initiate the collection of medication to control the seizure in the event it is prolonged (collection may take 5-10mins)
7. Generally administer medication to terminate only prolonged seizures, although specific case considerations may change this (see local hospital guidelines)
