Dose used in above study on adults used roughly 30mg/kg loading dose & 7.5mg/kg/hr "Tranexamic acid ... 2g was administered at the beginning of CPB and then as a continuous infusion at a rate of 0.5g/h until chest closure; 2g was added to the prime of the CPB equipment"
