Voluven bags in Australia contain a "Never use the white port" warning above the white port. The TGA instructed the manufacturer that it wouldn't allow a drug injection port in colloid volume expanders to minimise the risk that agents not meant to be delivered as a bolus are injected into the bag and delivered rapidly. As it was too expensive to redesign the bag, it was simply labelled with instructions not to use the port.
